"Justin Taylor – (b. 1976) American, studied at the Brigham
Young University in Utah before continuing his training at the Art Student's
League in New York.
His work has garnered him numerous awards from such
prestigious institutions as the Portrait Society of America and the Springville
Museum of Art. In his paintings, Taylor conveys an emotional connection between
artist and model that is sensed by the viewer.
His work is more interpretive
than narrative, as he wants the viewer to create their own reality with their
emotional connection.
His paintings have exhibited throughout the United States
in such distinguished venues as The Butler Institute of American Art, the Utah
Museum of Fine Art and the Salmagundi Club in New York City."
